Ah Christmas. What to get the little ones can be one of the hardest questions. There’s just so much choice. Over the next few weeks we will be doing our best to try and make your life a little easier, with the recommendations on the top toys at the best prices.
1. Fingerlings untamed Dinosaurs
Of course the Fingerlings are back and bigger than ever. They respond to motion and sound just like their monkey forebears and the kids will find them just as fun. The best news? There’s rumours that a T-Rex version is on the way before Christmas.
Available here for £16.99. Be quick before there gone!!
2. Harry Potter Hogwarts Express
Harry Potter and a train set? Were sold. This is a huge set that also comes with 5 mini figures plus Dementors. This really is the ultimate Harry Potter gift this holiday. At £75 its a little pricey, but looking at the quality of the set it’s a worthy investment.
What can we say. Kids love slime. This particular brand is special though. It can expand by 100 times and you can even blow giant bubbles with it. The best thing is, is that its non sticky so you wont have to scrub it out of your carpet.
4. Monopoly Cheaters Edition
Theres always a cheat in the group, so this will be the perfect gift for them. This version encourages cheating, such as faking a roll dice, stealing cash and even skipping rent. It should make for an interesting, if argumentative evening.
Possibly the cutest monsters we’ve ever seen! Your child will have fun unboxing these guys with the ‘crowbar’ provided – there are 6 to collect and they make 45 cute creature sounds.
They each also have their own favourite food which makes them do chomping noises when you put it in their mouth.
We were surprised at how soft to the touch the fur on these guys was and how nice and colourful they are too.
Plus they’re a nice handy size for little hands to carry around and snuggle with.
